First in Flight, and First in Freedom

December 17th, 1903 North Carolina is famous for a lot of firsts.  Just as we were the first State to declare sovereignty from the English crown, we ought also be the the first State to call for the sovereignty codified long ago in the US Constitution and the American Bill of Rights.

On April 12th 1775, the delegates in convention at the Halifax Courthouse from all around North Carolina, issued a draft that would become known as the “Halifax Resolves.”  Ours was the first such resolve, and ours should be the first one again.

Understand also

That I love my Nation, our Republic, and I will serve the Constitutional Republic until my death.  I believe that the best and most perfect function of the American Republic, is as the agent of the several States.  I believe that American government can be perfected under the Constitution, and if given a mandate for reform.

One of the first of such efforts is the passage of North Carolina House Bill H849, towards the restoration of Constitutional order. I would like to challenge North Carolina to become the first State to declare Sovereignty under the Ninth and Tenth Amendments to the US Constitution.

Why do you imagine that this is some kind of new idea?

Why do you imagine that this is some kind of new idea?

We are asserting only what the Founders wrote for us, in the Constitution.  If you are a friend of the Constitution, then you have nothing to fear from us, we are friends.  If, however, you are an enemy of the Constitution, then we welcome your challenges — but want you to know in your heart of hearts, that we destined to prevail (just so you know that ahead of time 😉 )

The Constitution will be the Revolution of our time, and we are arighted, America will become more prosperous than ever before.  Freedom will spread by example, and not by the point of a gun.  Ron Paulers are on the march, and we have not gone away.  We have the answers to save our nation, and you know it.  It is time to put personalities aside and work on promoting real Republican principles into public policy, such as obedience to both the writ, and intent of the Constitution of the United States.

Currently in the House is North Carolina House Bill H849
