US Census GPS in Neighborhoods Now

According to the following article from April 6th, 2009

US Census GPS in Neighborhoods Now.

The US Census Bureau is collecting a database of GPS coordinates per household during indexing.

Now this may be innocuous; but obtaining a “precise targetable location within 3 feet” is not a Constitutionally delegated census power.  And even if the US Government only ever had our best interests at heart while collecting this data, what about the next administration?  or the next?

This is akin to the Domestic Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Act, to the USA PATRIOT Act, to the FISA Amendment, to the lifting of Posse Comitatus, and the revocation of Habeas Corpus.  At every step when we stood to oppose it we were told, “If you have nothing to hide, then you have nothing to worry about.”

Right.

Now that Obama is in charge, the Department of Homeland Security is issuing threat bulletins listing “People who believe in smaller government” as violent militia, and passing these bulletins onto the police through DHS Federal and State “Fusion Centers”

By being ‘officially listed’ as terroristic threats, now the Government employs the Domestic Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Act (thank you Bush), thus permitting all the provisions of PATRIOT and FISA to be applied against Republicans by a fully Democratic Washington DC.

Not so funny now is it?

But hey, remember.  If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear.  Right?  Remember that when the State Trooper has his pistol pointed at your brain stem because he got spooked by your “END THE FED” bumper sticker…
